This means any individual that meets requirements (i.e., background check, other state requirements) may be utilized as a temporary nurse aide while the CMS Waiver is in effect. Webb(a) For a nurse aide training and competency evaluation program to be approved by the State, it must, at a minimum - (1) Consist of no less than 75 clock hours of training; (2) Include at least the subjects specified in paragraph (b) of this section; (3) Include at least 16 hours of supervised practical training.
