I haven't struggled in the slightest at all lol. … NettetI remember seeing a video on youtube with a theory that made a bit of sense in that only the kokiri can have a fairy which link obviously is not so after the task the deku tree gave to navi she returned to the forest but without a fairy and no longer under the deku tree's protection link himself could never go since every non kokiri turns into stalfos.

There are so many random things that can randomly kill you in this game, a lot due to it still being early access, that you shouldn't lose your items permanently.
